At Chesters Nursery School we follow two curriculums, Nurturing my potential and the Curriculum for Excellence 3-18.
Staff use these curriculums to plan, create and implement learning opportunities for all children dependent on their age and stage.
Nurturing my potential is used alongside Realising the Ambition document to focus on the early years of a child's life focusing on babies and toddlers :

The Curriculum for Excellence is broken down into four capacities which are:
- Successful learners
- Confident Individuals
- Responsible Citizens
- Effective Contributors
Glasgow City Council aim to close the attainment gap, therefore our Lead Practitioner of Attainment works alongside staff to incorperate literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing into all our playrooms and curricular planning.
